Registering
You may need to register to make a purchase on this Site. We may change registration requirements from time to time. When you register, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Benefits of Registering
Registering allows you to get news on new arrivals, special events, promotions and exclusive products at Bougan-villa. It also helps you to make a quick checkout while shopping at Bougan-villa.

Signing In
In order to access your personal information and order history, you must sign in using your email address and your Bougan-villa password. For security reasons, you will be automatically logged out after 5 minutes of inactivity on the web site. At this time, you would need to re-enter your email address and password in order to access your personal information.

Username & Password
If you are a new to our site, you will be asked at the top of our homepage to register. Or, you can click here to register now. As part of our registration process, you will be asked for your e-mail address, password, name, gender, date of birth, contact numbers and your credit card billing address which is the address where your purchases will be shipped.

Account/User Name
Your account (or user) name is your e-mail address.

Forgotten Password
If you have a Bougan-villa account and you have forgotten your password, we can provide it for you. On the homepage, simply click my account and at the bottom of the register page you will see a ‘Forgot Your Password’ link. Click that enter your email address and click on the ‘Fetch Password’ link. We will immediately send a new password to your registered email address.

Accessing/Changing Account Information
To update your account information, click on the ‘My Account’ link at the top of every page. You will then see the Register page. Sign in and from here you can go to ‘Update Profile’ or ‘Change Password’

Email Sign-up
When you sign up for an email update, you will receive updates about once every fortnight with new arrivals, special events, promotions and exclusive products at Bougan-villa. To make any purchases you will have to register.

Size and Product Information

Size Information
As you know, sizing differs not only from country to country, but also by designer. In order to simplify things we have measured each garment to provide you with basic measurements of the garment. Please note that as most of these garments are hand made with handmade processes there could be variations in measurements.

Measure yourself for apparel
Please take your measurements while wearing normal undergarments; no jeans, blouses, flattening sports bras, etc. Lay the tape measure flat against the skin; don't pull it tight, nor let it droop.  

Shoulder
Measure point to point where your arm joins the shoulder. 

Chest
Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to cross over your fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.

Waist
Measure around your waist where your pants usually fall. Keep one finger between the tape and your body to ensure an accurate fit.

Hip
Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the ground.  

Measure your clothes
Lay the garment flat on the table making sure there are no creases.

Shoulder
Face the front of the garment down. Measure as shown in the picture.

Chest
The crosswise measurement 1” under the armhole is ˝ the chest measurement. Double this and you have the measurement for the chest of your garment.

Waist
The narrowest part of the garment where your waist would normally fall. Double this and you have the measurement for the chest of your garment.

Hip
Usually about 7” down from the hip, check around this area for the widest part. Double this and you have the measurement for the chest of your garment.

Sizing Tips
There are 2 ways to work this:

1.Measuring a garment
The easy way out is to measure a garment that fits you well and order a similar size for eg: you have a shirt that fits you well, measure its shoulder & chest and match it to the measurements of the garment you are buying. This rule generally works well for garments that are similar in look & fabric.

2. Measuring yourself
For all woven garments keep at least 2” extra for the size you are taking. eg: if your chest measures 34”, then the  garment’s chest should measure at least 36”. For fitted knit tops with stretch keep the measurement 2” less for the size you are taking. Eg: if your chest measures 34”, then the garment’s chest should measure 32” or even less for a nice snug fit. The rule for shopping for coats or jackets. If you plan to wear bulky layers underneath the coat, it may be necessary to buy the coat/jacket a size or two (or more) larger than your body measurements .Although the above guidelines should give a good fit if used properly, it is only an aid.

Product Sizing
All garment measurements are taken by laying them flat. Minor variations may occur between the size chart given and the actual garment as they are all hand made products.

Footwear Sizing 

We have used the Mondopoint system, which is the same as measuring the foot (not the shoe) in centimeters (or cm).

To find your size, for the length trace the outer boundaries of both your feet with socks while standing on a piece of paper. Both feet should be measured as sometimes there is a slight difference in the measurement of both. Now put a scale and measure to the longest point as shown in the picture 1. Sometimes the longest is not always to the big toe.

For the girth, measure from under the arch of the foot to the ankle joint as shown in the picture 2. If your girth is bigger than the girth of the size you have earmarked after measuring your length go a size up.

For your reference, our sizing is nearly the same as European sizing.

 Although the above guidelines should give a good fit if used properly, it is only an aid.

Every effort has been made to render colors and textures accurately. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on various web browsing platforms and personal monitor settings, we cannot guarantee true color and texture representations.

Prices shown on the site are in INR(Indian Rupees). All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The INR price of a product displayed on the website at the time the order is accepted will be honoured. You will also incur shipping costs and any duties levied by the jurisdiction to which you have specified delivery.
